My Review

The synopsis was very intriguing. 

I'm all for men in uniform... undercover.. posing as a college student.. love!!! 

Right up my alley! Yay me!

But, I gave Moth 3 stars because certain aspects I enjoyed, I really did, and I am by no means a prude and have read male pov before, but the crudeness was a little too over the top for my taste to rate it any other way.

Moth has one hell of a potty mouth! 

He's a man, a DEA agent, they cuss... I get it. Fuck, I cuss too! 

But to be honest, I found it a little hard to stay focused on the actual story with all of the... 

and...

that was being thrown around, everywhere.

Yes, there was this...

... which I did enjoy, but if I didn't know any better, I'd say this was a male author writing to a male demographic.
The descriptions and main character's internal dialogue and thought were just too overly crass for my taste. It was distracting.

I did enjoy the mystery and suspense of the story... the twist I didn't see coming, although was trying to figure out, was pretty darn good! 
I was intrigued and getting excited at what was to come, though unfortunately I rolled my eyes at the wording being used so many times I gave myself a headache!

My Review

Kreed!!! 

I loved him!

He was so big, cocky and strong, with an overbearing and commanding personality, but such a sweetheart!

He became a completely different person when it came to Aaron, so thoughtful and patient.

Did I mention 'sin'fully sexy and hot? That too!

This book was a little slow going in the beginning for me, lots of cop talk,  but then once it got going, it got going!!

I enjoyed the mysterious feel of the book and couldn't wait to find out 'who done it' and what exactly was going on! 

I also love the inclusion of the previous couples. 

Awesome end to the Nice Guys series.

I am a HUGE More Than series fan!!!

Couldn't wait to read Dylan's story. Add to the fact that he's in the military.... instant hells yes!!

I loved the way it started! Such a sad beginning. 

My heart completely broke for Riley and what she went through.

Dylan was awesome! He's a marine. Enough said!! ;)

He's kind, considerate, beautiful and not as quiet as everything thinks he is! He has his demons and his insecurities, but he loves with his whole heart and I love that about him.

I'm not going to go into detail, just know that this book has an abundance of grief and loss. There's sadness and pain, but luckily in true Jay McLean fashion, there's books, there's friendship and laughter, there's love and there's mayhem!!!! 

Get ready to laugh!

I enjoyed the inclusion of all previous characters. They're one big family of course and this wouldn't be a More book without them.

About the grief and sadness?? You'll need tissues for sure!! 

I cried my eyes out!

"Because is and was is the difference between time standing still, and time moving forward."

This book is a lesson in acceptance. Overcoming the hardships life throws your way.  

And it kills me to not give 5 stars, but although I cried like a baby AND laughed out loud, there were a couple moments I just didn't feel or agree with.

Nonetheless, awesome story and end to the More Than Series!!

This is one where I actually read the blurb! (I usually don't)

 I had read one of Isabel's books before and absolutely loved it! 

Mix her writing with tragedy, loss, and tears and I was in!!

Well, this definitely had the tragedy, it had the loss, but unfortunately for me, my tears didn't come. 

Phoenix has quite the sad story. She copes with it the only way she feels she can.

Evan is the sexy new guy in town. He's attentive, caring, funny and charming. I loved him!

I did enjoy this story. It was a really nice read, pretty easy going with bouts of laughter and sweetness to balance out the loss and sadness.

But, I did feel like it was a little too perfect and put together.

Yes there were hardships and hurdles, but they all seemed to be easily overcome. 

Certain things fell right into place, making it a little too convenient and 'after school special' for me.

I was longing for a little more grit and little more gut wrenching.

My Review

Wren is a gentle giant. He's a big, beautiful fireman who is also sweet and protective, not just of others, but over his heart and his feelings. 
He's hiding something. But what?


Aaron is larger than life. He's all that glitters and sparkles. Very flirtatious and full of life! 
But not everything and everyone is as it seems.

Wren doesn't feel worthy of Aaron.... or is it the other way around?  
Their insecurities broke my heart.
I enjoyed the sexual banter and innuendos that always left Aaron's mouth!
There's laughter and some sexy, sexy scenes. But overall there's also a sense of sadness. There's some tough subjects tackled here and it was all done very well.

Oh and did I mention Wren was a fireman? I think I did... so let me just leave you with a thought... wall sex!

MY REVIEW

Woo hoo! I read Closet Confession when it first came out in the Night Shift Anthology and loved every minute of it! 

It was sweet and intriguing, turned passionate and HOT!! 

Seven minutes in Heaven's got nothing on this closet!

Imagine my excitement when I found out an "extended version" was coming out!!! 

New scenes, new insight and new naughtiness??? 

Yes please!!!

My problem with most novellas is that they are but a snippet of a story. 

There isn't usually enough grit and in depth information on the characters. 

Although I really enjoyed the quick jaunt in the closet the first time around, the added scenes to this book helped round out the story for me. 

I relished the extra bits of their lives! 

More feelings! 

More passion!

You understood why Justin acted the way he did. 

Why he kept his feelings "in the closet".

"Apparently, you could take the man out of the military, but not the military out of the man."

Kindle Alexander knows how to give the reader what they want, that's for sure.

You're gonna need a defibrillator for this one folks!!! HOT!

My Review

Susan Mac Nicol does not shy away from difficult subjects. In fact, she tackles them head on.

This  book is filled with many tough subjects to include abuse, torture, kidnapping, suicide and more.

Feat of Clay doesn't pull any punches and opens right up with sadness and a holy shit moment!!

There's beauty in a battered soul learning to find their way out of the dark and who better to help you with that than the man you've been in love with since you were both kids.

Clay's unyielding love and protectiveness for Tate is awe inspiring.

Sex as therapy? Hmmm That's what Tate's therapist suggested, but in my opinion there might have been just a tad too much of it.  Oddly enough, this is one of my favorite quotes...

"Let's just go to bed so I can fuck some loving into you."

There was also the usual witty banter which I've come to know and love, but not as predominant as in the others in the series. I did laugh out loud with Clay and the liquorice though!

And finally, I really enjoyed the interaction with the children at the halfway house as well as Jax. 

Is he to be a future mc? I would love it if he was!

For now, I look forward to the next Men of London and Lenny!!!!

It reminded me of my loud Italian, cheek kissing, coffee loving, feed you till you're exploding family. I could relate and it was hilarious! No worries.... this book picks up right where the other left off.

Alex is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

We finally get to hear his side of the story, with this book predominately in his pov.

His only mission is to get to Elizabeth and get her where she belongs. 

With him!

I enjoyed the twists and turns and also the flashbacks to when Alex was in the military. I'm a sucker for a soldier!

This book has a lot more action, and has more of a suspense, who done it type feel compared to the first one.

There’s still plenty of secrets, with everyone hiding something, only now there's bad guys, guns and a whole lot of explaining to do!

Don't get me wrong though, there's still plenty of sexy, sweet and heart breaking moments. I actually gasped a couple of times and one particular part got me right in the heart and brought tears to my eyes!

Sweet, heart wrenching Beauty and the Beast type story. Full of good old fashion Southern charm. Sweet tea, baked goods, chivalry and all.

This story brought me to tears! It was sweet and endearing, funny, sexy and emotional! I loved it.
