#TripleX by Christine Zolendz and Angelisa Stone

Does size really matter?

Two women spin a tale of comedy and new beginnings after they wake up and find themselves in a jail cell over 3000 miles away from home. Rehashing their adventure in front of a less-than-sympathetic judge, they give a laugh-out-loud and extremely detailed story of a road trip that finds them in a ton of trouble.

Battling age, weight, and their own personal demons, not only do they discover the open road and a life they misplaced somewhere in their 20s, they also find themselves. From breakups and stealing cars to blurry memories of something that might have happened in New Mexico, these two women will take you on a real journey, full of fun and, well, situations that people only write about   and never really do….or do they?

This story is about two women, Christine and Angelisa. They are both wives, moms, forty, overweight, unhappy and defeated.. but they are also goofy, funny, loving, writers, and best friends.
This is a comical journey they make on the road to discovery. What did they discover? You’ll have to read it and find out!

These characters are very real. I can relate to their antics and shenanigans, being a wife, mother and woman almost 40, myself. Some of the things that happen to them have happened to me and for that reason I laughed that much harder.... out loud.... and often!

This is an easy going, light and fun read. Actually, there are also some very sweet and touching moments in the mix as well. Toss in some charming men, a steamy scene or two... a stolen pig and a pink unicorn and you got yourself a funny read!

These girls are goofy and silly.. and although I can't say how close their personalities are to the real Christine and Angelisa,  I can tell you that I enjoyed getting into their minds even for just a little bit!

Thank you to the authors for providing an arc in exchange for an honest review!
