Worth the Fight (MMA Fighter #1) by Vi Keeland

It didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

***Author's note*** THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL.

Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Loved it! It was a very well rounded story from beginning to end. It was sweet and sad mixed in with some hot sex, crazy chemistry and laughter! Told in both his and her pov, which I love!

Nico looks like your typical bad boy. He’s a big, hot, tattooed MMA fighter who’s got piercing green eyes and one hell of a possessive streak. YES! YES! YES! He is all those things, but bad boy he is not. He’s a family man, a caring uncle, a mentor, and he’s possessive yes but he takes care of his woman first and foremost and that is SO HOT!Did I mention dimples?? He has dimples too!!

“I quickly scoop up the rest of my personal life on display on the sidewalk and I'm relieved that I had removed the flavored condoms that Regina had shoved into my purse before I left yesterday. Bacon Flavor. What woman wants to taste meat while, you know, tasting meat?”

I also liked how the supporting characters added to the story without taking anything away from Elle and Nico. Elle’s friend Regina, also known as Gigi!! Looks like a teddy bear but sounds like a sex kitten! Haha

The epilogue was different and I liked it a lot. Some are just a moment in the future a few months down the road, others are the next day.... this epilogue was like a short story, a continuous glimpse into their future and I loved it!

I enjoyed Forth the Fight very much and look forward to reading the next in this series as well as others by Vi Keeland!
